My New Garden

So, in the spirit of this magnificent season, I've decided to start a garden of my very own! It is very exciting, especially since I've been planning to start a garden ever since we moved in to our house. Its only been a little over 7 years... I know, its about time!

Saturday afternoon, I dragged the family to the local home improvement store and got various supplies to start my garden, namely fencing and seeds. To my amazement and glee, I woke up just a few days later to find SPROUTS!



They continue to grow and thrive, and after the soggy ground becomes a little more manageable, these babies are going in the ground.

Where do you wear your manhood?

O.k. guys, seriously... Is it that important? I just don't really have words for this. At first I thought it was cool, but then I looked at the price tag and then at the things NOT included!? Is this something you would buy for yourself, or hope to receive as a gift? I'm just curious (as I've been looking for an anniversary gift for Ernie).

I love to cook!

So, now that I've been spending more time at home, I've been able to do a lot more cooking. I forgot how much I enjoy cooking. As many times as I've Googled a recipe, I have never noticed how cool some of the recipe databases are. I really like Recipe Zaar because it has some really great features for storing recipes, menus, meal plans, shopping lists, etc... That being said, I stumbled upon another silly "personality" quiz. Personally I don't see it, especially the demeaning part!
